Texting and driving is the same as drinking 4 beers and makes you 23 more times as likely to crash. Sign a pledge not to text and drive Here.
Hi Jil, that link seems to go to my home page. Personally, I don’t think pledges are going to do any good. I’m not going to do it pledge or not. The stats are amazing though. Even two times more times as likely to crash is sobering but 23 times? Wow! Thanks for the input.
Texting while driving is as dangerous as drinking & driving. There is laws in place, but law enforcement is not doing enough to enforce them.
Hi Rose, As a local truck driver, I see it a lot. The sight advantage of the truck allows me to see far more than I’d like. Texting while driving is WAY more common than most people realize. It’s insane. I wanted to snap some pictures of that but that would be even crazier, trying to photograph a car while driving a truck.
